Had a great time with friends, especially hitting the Mattaponi Springs Golf Club, just 15 minutes away. We also took the family to WaterWorks nearby. The location made it easy to explore local attractions. I recommend checking out the local spots for meals, and relax at the hotel after a busy day. It worked well for our group trip!
One thing to note is that the first room we got had a nasty smell and a broken TV, but we were moved to a better one.

Although the grassy areas for dog walking were disappointing due to trash and unpleasant surroundings, I found a clean spot nearby for my dog. The breakfast offerings were very limited, featuring stale pastries and insufficient coffee, which was disappointing. Overall, the rooms could use maintenance and a thorough cleaning effort to make the stay more pleasant.
